We are hiring!
We are looking to fill two positions, 1 full time (40 hours/week) and 1 part time (20 to 30 hours/week), for experienced baker/cook positions in our on-farm market kitchen.
Job duties include:
sandwich and soup
meal preparation, pickling and canning
maintain batch records
kitchen preparation, cleaning and sanitization
maintain a clean and safe workspace
ability to follow and potentially develop recipes
Ontario Food Handlers certificate or willingness to obtain
ability to safely lift 50lbs repetitively is necessary
ability to stand for long periods of time
Recommended experience and/or education:
Experience in a commercial kitchen work and menu development an asset. College training in culinary and hospitality an asset. As this is a rural location, public transportation is not available and own transportation is necessary.
